A little about me

I’M AN AUTHOR AND EDITOR WHO LIVES IN DARTMOUTH, NOVA SCOTIA WITH MY HUSBAND AND TWO BEAUTIFUL CHILDREN.

I studied journalism at Carleton University’s School of Journalism in Ottawa, ON. I began my writing career as a journalist, writing online sports articles, lifestyle pieces for magazines, and a few newspaper clippings. My first book, Winds of Change: The Life and Legacy of Calvin W. Ruck, was published in 2014. I was honoured when that book was shortlisted for a Dartmouth Book Award. Since then, I’ve been blessed to have worked on a handful of other book projects and have edited some wonderful books by some talented Nova Scotian authors. Feel free to browse the site to check out the other titles I’ve had the pleasure of writing. Happy reading!
